Excuse the subject
And please move this to "Feature requests" if you deem it's more appropriate for there, I'm not sure.
I'd like to fire the flash multiple times during a single exposure. I sure realize it just can't be done at anywhere near full power without long recharge times, but given the camera does fire a pre-flash, and
a few posts in DataGhost's thread hint to the possibility, I'd like to know how that's done - on an A720, if at all possible.
I was thinking it could be useful for semi-scientific things that involve measuring the velocity of an object; I think that ought to be possible by taking a long enough exposure and firing the flash at the beginning
and at the end, for example.
Also, my camera sports a terrible red-eye effect, and I wonder whether firing a couple more pre-flashes (at the expense of a weaker final flash) would mitigate this, since it seems it's the trick that most other cameras use to achieve this.
