Thanks very much pixeldoc, you're work is great, i'm testing v.18 and everything is ok, next days i'll use raw files, 2 questions: how convert them into dng to use them with lightroom?
I searched for aperture controls but i didn't find them, how can I set low values (f6-f8)?

I meant in a previous request was about Micellaneous Values>Show Zoom>Show Zoom value as(X,FL,EFL).
Each values of X,FL,EFL currently shown on display are little far from specifications.

I loaded v18, F stop values obtained from EXIF file are exactly same as you corrected for each step, but still "?" is seen for F8.

About RAW, please read the hole tread, you are the 3. one asking about RAW...

CHDK forum > Using CHDK > RAW Shooting and Processing

Some (windows) Software which supports canon raw format:
DNG4PS-2 (converts canon raw to dng), Raw Therapee, UFRaw, XnView, Picasa2, Photoshop with RAW Plugin and Canon Software

DNG4PS-2 has no calibration for SD900 yet! Maybe somebody want to give it a try?

ufraw does a swell job. that is if you load the 1 out of 3 raw files that are not corrupt

First of all, a very warm thank you to pixeldoc2000 for this port. I had lost all hopes for this to happen. I was looking to buy another camera to use CHDK when I found this. It's not on my shopping list anymore!

Unless I missed it, is there a bug tracking list somewhere? Besides the raw file problem, what else is known as of now? Or what remains to be done to be at release 1.00?

v. 18 good job Pixeldoc
shot at the auto show this weekend and out in the snow

I used all functions below and they all worked:
 
Shutter speed everride
Subject distance override
ND filter control
bracketing
Grids
Custom Auto ISO
Fast ev. switch
edge overlay
OSD display menu and changes
User Menu

no errors in exposure all shots correct
sorry I have no experiance with RAW

all functions worked exactly like they do on my SD500
AGAIN GREAT JOB thanks Pixeldoc

Did those two actually work for you? On my camera I can hear the ND clicking in and out even if it's set in the CHDK menu, and the difference is quite notisable on the display. And while the fast EV switch does work, the buttons used for it changes things in the Canon menu at the same time.

yes they both work, with the ND filter "in" using CHDK the nd filter dosn't actually go in until the shutter button is 1/2 down,  a bright light will put the filter in without the shutter button pushed 1/2 down, this may make the CHDK ND filter in seem not to be working
fast ev switching works ok if you pause and let the canon menu return to rest before a 2nd ev change, kind of a pain but it works the same way on my SD 500

ND filter works fine. I was disappointed there is no real aperture, but oh well. has anyone tried the in camera raw .dng develop ?
