You could try to create the badpixel.bin file from a RAW image with the show_bad_b.exe tool (read http://chdk.wikia.com/wiki/Badpixel_removal for more information about it).

To create a "dummy" badpixel.bin file, use a hex editor (e.g. the great & free HxD Hex Editor from http://mh-nexus.de/en/downloads.php?product=HxD) and create a file only containing 00 00 (ASCII code 0), NOT with ASCII char "0" (ASCII code 38)...

I've uploaded current source to git://github.com/pixeldoc2000/chdk.git (readonly).
Branch: ixus900_sd900 .

So get it while it's hot  ;).

Currently i'm focused on my IXUS 300 / SD4000 Port.

Sad story...

My SD900 does suffert vom E19 Lens Error. The Lens always get stuck after it extends... Even after disassembling, lubricate and more this does not change...

After some hours working on this thing, i broke one of the brown flex cables...

Now it looks like this...  :-[

Sorry to see your camera in that condition ~ Even though I have the SD990 and a DSLR I still use my SD900 often mostly on sailboat races, and get some great images.  I moved back to your march 12 2009 build as the manual focus worked and it was stable just no DNG.  Hope you get it working again it has a great lens and sensor

No, i've check for loose connction.

Also i disassembled and reassembled my SD900 about 3-4 time with the same result.

After that, is was annoyed and damaged a flex cable at the sensor at the next disassemble. I'll try to fix it somehow, but than there is still the mechanical issus with lens...

Yes, i really liked the picture from my SD900!
Only issus was the missing IS, otherwise it has a good sensor. Under some conditions pictures where far better than SD4000

Manual focus is broken with last beta?

I'll look for SD900 after my SD4000 port is "done"...

Actually there is something i noticed about possible JTAG...
There is an array of pads near the digic cpu on the pcb. Have a look a this pictures:

I have a http://www.embedded-projects.net/usbprog/ for my AVR stuff. I also have a 5V <> 3,3V level shifter. But i'm not shure how to connect to the jtag.
I've never used jtag before...
