in Beta v13 RAW tends to work (file are sometimes corrupted), but DNG work does not yet.
I can convert CRW with dng4ps2 (a620 setting) and open CRW with RAW Therapee.

Maybe you used a special build? This is the default trunk version (nearly the most recent rev). So Gui and Feature should be the same for most cams i think...

i'm testing Beta v13... i'll will release it after some more fixes and testing...

i tested v12, and the first thing (minor bug) i noticed, is the colours different in play and rec modes. (i figured it out that it is not my bug, after changing font/colour settings two times :))
will post other things later, after playing with v12 / v11.

UPDATE

Beta v13 released. Look at my first Post for download links and change log.

If your Camera crashed while using CHDK, look at "stdout.txt", "chdklog.txt" and "romlog.txt" on SD-Card (you can use my added menu items in Debug menu) and add log content to your answer.

v13 video mode freezes the camera, but not instantly - some seconds after start it updates the view, but movie length counter equals to zero. log files are unchanged (remain the zero sized files). (..some time later..) surprisly, i still can use 'chdk' button, and can call the chdk menu .. but the view & camera is still hanging... i try to switch between modes, but it didn't helps. also 'power' button didn't work in such "mode", which makes the only way to exit - is to pull off the battery )))

yes, i should have written it, camera does not response after trying to record video (Beta v12 did shutdown). Some definitions for video are still not correct

Please try the create and test RAW (first RAW image may be corrupted).

hm, using playback (and zooming images) works flawless on my camera...  didn't had any issus in playmode anymore. Maybe try to delete photos/videos on sd-card, make some new one and test again. Does camera shutdown / crash or does it only freeze camera for some time (after blue led)?

cleaned out card and took new images, it hangs for several seconds in playback mode when zooming in on image for several seconds can not pan zoomed in image, blue light also comes on when  zooming during photo mode

downloaded new copy of CHDK to new card loaded to camera and all is ok no more blue light or hang on playback, must have had bad file on card
