Beta v24

  • trunk: #946
  • CHDK version: 0.9.9
  • keyboard stuff changed (using kbd_read_keys() from canon firmware)
  • kbd.c added feather task suspend (now feather task is disabled in ALT mode -> does not overdraw chdk anymore)
  • camera.h updated (SD override reenabled)
  • minor improvements

Just got back from a business trip to India,  I just took the SD900 with V24 running left my other cameras home.  I had little time for photography but did take some images from the car to and from work and from the hotel room.  All things seem to work,  Manual focus is back  Thanks Pixeldoc

It is nice that the menu stays on in alt mode

just dl latest - seems to work fine.  welcome back pixeldoc! good to see progress (thanks).

Can someone show me how to get manual focus?  may be useful underwater pics when camera wont focus due to low light

you have to use Override Subject Distance and input the subject distance in mm, or cm

BluDL - subject distance can also be used with the shortcut keys described here...

Override Subject Distance is your answer... probably not very usefull underwater.

pixeldoc I tried to get DNG working but the badpixel file still does not complete using the script.  am I doing something wrong

How is your 900 doing still OK?

No, badpixel script does not finish correctly. I'm still usable to fix this long standing issus. I guess this has todo with raw buffer stuff on sd900 is different to most cameras (HELP).

Yes, it's still fine. Let's knock on wood ;)

BTW, i'm aware there are some minor issus left... but AFAIK almost chdk functions are stable.
