My SD300 1.00k always crashes after taking a picture with the current autobuild (http://mighty-hoernsche.de/bins/ixus40_sd300-100k-0.8.10-651-full.zip).  The allbest-ixus40_sd300-100k-51-fixSeries version in reply #60 works fine.

I merged two threads.


1) Create a ticket on the bugtracker if one doesn't exist already.
2) If trunk has had a working version in the past, try finding out the newest exact revision that still works. Binaries may not be available, but CHDK Shell can download and build any revision with ease even if you aren't a skilled software developer.

Also, does it always crash taking a picture, or only when raw or some override is enabled ?

for me the current auto-build versions always crash when taking a picture... even with default settings (no  overide, normal res jpg).  I played with the settings a bit, but it would always crash.

I've only been trying auto-builds from the last week or so (I just found out about CHDK), but the allbest build from reply #60 is the only one I've actually been able to take a picture with.  I'll try to look into building some of the older trunk versions... I'd love to get a version supporting LUA to work.

Has anyone else tried taking consecutive shots without fully releasing the button?  I can take the first picture fine, but the second shot causes the camera to shut off and display "E26" right before.  This is in raw or jpg mode without any other settings turned on.

In CHDK bugtracker DNG support for ixus40 was requested, but bugtracker is down now.
Can somebody, who have this camera:
 - install build #715 or later
 - shoot RAW and upload RAW-JPEG pair somewhere (good focused and good exposed)?

Nice....startet a support-call for this in the german forum ([1]), hope somebody will answer soon...

i informed the maintainer of the BT, he fixed it. they moved some servers in their datacenter. should be stable now.
