Can someone please post a current list of what the outstanding issues are with the SD1100/ixus 80 port?

The wiki page http://chdk.wikia.com/wiki/SD1100IS says "outdated" for both "chk porting" and "known issues".

Things i know about are

- you cant controll led's
- sound commands are also not working
- optical zoom in moviemode is not available

Optical zoom in movie mode works with or without chdk for me. Are you refering to controlling it in script?

Led support would be nice.

I'm also hoping muli partition support will be added soon.  ;)

are you sure it is the optical zoom and not digital? i have never heard about a canon cam with can zoom(optical) without CHDK....
canon swithches it off because of the noise which zoom and focus could cause in  the microphone

What firmware does your SD1100 Ixus 80 run? Because optical zoom doesn't work at all for me during video capture - CHDK or no CHDK!! And it's the one thing I'm dying to get working... Does anyone know a scrip to make it work?

I'm running CHDK on my Ixus 80 (firmware 1.01A, CHDK allbest build 0.9.1-676)

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Mine certainly can run the optical zoom during video capture.  I have not tried from a script but just turning it on and starting video capture, the zoom functions.

just to check if i understood it right, you switch to movie mode press the shutter to start recording and when you touch the zoom wheel the cam zooms optically and refocuses? and digital zoom if off for sure in the canon-menu?
