What's the feasibility of a "Live Preview Hack" appearing on one of the Digic II Digital Rebel series? They've all got the mirror lockup ability so I'm assuming it's mechanically possible.. I've always wondered why live preview from the sensor wasn't just a feature from the very beginning.

the "liveview" feature requires a specific sensor with a live mode.

yeah... these dslrs have simple sensor with single readout mode... a "live preview" maybe could be made using full readout, but it'll have 4-5 fps...
implementing this feature needs a hardcore developer who owns one of these cameras, and a lot of work(many moths)...
