SD 1000 - how to where?

on the wiki page there is one with some stuff on the sd 1000, but no instructions on how to use it or put it on my camera (canon sd1000)  I there actually any firmware for it yet?? thank you. 

Things needed:
1. Yes or no - firmware chdk?
2. If yes then how?
3. if yes where?
