How about to create function to write down all user activities in form of uBasic script? Combined with dumping of all current settings will results very fast method of creating scripts.

Thumbs up.  :D Would be useful.
But which key is to start/stop macro recording? Or simply stop after a minute?

Or entering the menu and switching off recording. After that program would delete 2 last commands.
