hide OSD on popup menus

A650(and probably other models too) have popup menu for flash, focus mode and for ISO(wb too if it's set to print button)...
it's ugly when they are overwritten by chdk osd...
osd should be hidden like when entering FUNC and MENU

i was seeking in the sources for a function or something that reflects the state of the original menus but didn't find anything... how does chdk detect that FUNC menu has been entered???
