hi cail, i tried the latest build (50) , firmware loads successfully and all the menus work - but still no OSD.
tried all the options to turn it on and off, but no luck.

If i can help in any way possible let me know.

I formatted the SD card beforehand, the only files on the card were DISKBOOT.BIN and PS.FIR
Once the CHDK.CFG file had been created, i deleted it again just to test, but no luck.

Hmm... Strange... Unfortunately, I can't help here. Cail ported this cam, he own it and claims that all should work... ???

Whop, it seems there is some compiler lowlevel differences.
Made some asm changes to make it more portable.

Wait for the rev. 367 to be available on CHDK Download - #366 and let me know how its going.

Thanks so much cail, the OSD is now working!
This is great :) thanks again!

p.s. video mode doent seem to be working. i start the video recording as normal by pressing the shutter button , but the stopclock for the video length doesnt advance and i cant even stop the recording, no matter what button i press...i end up having to take the battery out to power down!

any ideas?

The latest version seems to be working well. Only one complaint. In Zebra mode the focus boxes disappear. I don't see a way to make them overlay the Zebra field.

You can try one of the Blink - Zebra modes, perhaps this will help... CHDK Manual: Zebra parameters
