S3iS build - CAUTION???

S3iS build - CAUTION???

'am a newbie,

while building for s3is i got a CAUTION -

stubs_min.S -> stubs_min.o
stubs_auto.S -> stubs_auto.o
-> stubs_entry.S
CAUTION! 'stubs_entry.S' is not uptated due to target firmware binary not found!

what exactly is this ???

Nothing special, just a warning that some files are missing - this is not important.

I'm wondering, why are you building CHDK on your own?

Nothing you need to care about unless you're porting for a new firmware version or something like that.

If you would have had a firmware dump installed in the platform tree, it would have automatically (re)generated stubs_entry.S (which already exists because someone has done this for you before) by searching the dump for signatures in the tools directory.

I know 3 answers for 1 simple question is a bit overdone  :haha

but: you can avoid this by doing a 'gmake PLATFORM=etc PLATFORMSUB=etc clean' after
every compile.
edit: this is incorrect, sorry.
