 Got remote capture to work by feeding power to the USB. I wonder if I can build a switch that uses USB voltage from the cam to trigger the capture?...anyone done this already?

Will try...

  Just enable all of your remote parameters in the Miscellaneous menu, and plug your camera into a good USB power source. Disable remote to transfer files to and fro camera...

Make sure you shoot in low ISO away from any light pollution 20 to 60 seconds will get good astro-pics. You also need a rock solid tripod...

 Pics coming soon. All I have besides the 790 is a 1.2mp K1 phone...   I wonder...

  Could we use our canons to make phone calls some day????

Maybe not on the 790...

after running once badpixel lua script, enable raw section with noise correction and dng format.

raw mode is not complete. sometimes i got good dng files, sometimes just "purple noise"..

address issue I think..

another script error :)

rename on the sd card .tmp file in badpixel.bin..

Hello! I not so far have bought  ixus90is, firmware gm1.00C
And looking for chdk-files for this camera =)   

Does somebody get succes in this deal ?)

Nothing so far just testing...  See post #48 in this thread for the link for the .BIN file.  I can load it and it works.  Now I have to test it! 

This is by no means a fully functional chdk for our cams.

You can also check here for any progression!
