Great work! badpixel-script works now, so i guess the raw-issues are fixed now.

One thing: RAW-Images are saved in \DCIM\100CANON but the JPGs are in \DCIM\104CANON
Is ist possible to store them in the same folder so the RAWs can also be downloaded using the usb-connection?

@Nitek

If the cam already supports this, it should be possible by setting this option:

Main Menu -> Raw Parameters -> RAW file in dir with JPG

I can confirm now that motion detection works as well.  I just had a short time to test and tweak it, but I was getting an average reaction time of about 140ms, which isn't too bad. I'll try some more testing later.

The only quite random behavior I came across dealt with the manual flash.  If I had the manual flash on, as soon as I set the AF lock, the overrides would be disabled and I would have to go back to the CHDK menu to turn the disable option back off.  I really have no idea what relation those two have.

Oh, one last thing. I couldn't get the OSD to be hidden when I go into Play to review the pictures.  They still showed up even when I had the Hide OSD in Play option enabled.

Anyways, Many thanks to you snc!

while checking some stuff on the 970, i noticed some more mistakes in the 90 port, and while i was at it, added playrec_mode / some_flag_for_af_scan. also, i corrected a mistake i made myself in the first attempt. note that this is simply the stuff brake posted with some modifications. the port seems to be in pretty rough shape so far, and while movie_rec.c is included, i doubt it does anything useful atm.

find the new binary attached.

as i dont own a 90, this will be my last contribution to this port unless a 90 magically appears at my place ??? so feel free to pick up the patch (which is against svn rev724).

Does the new binary include the patch? Or is there a specific purpose for it that needs to be tested?

Thanks again!

The binary is compiled from the latest sources, which are represented by the patch. So yeah, everything you see in the patch is "in" the binary. I don't know how far testing of this cam really is along, but documenting the non-working stuff would surely help anyone who'd want to pick up development.
