Are there any motion detection scripts that work with 0.9.7
I used this one:
http://crteknologies.free.fr/wiki/doku.php/photo:chdk-scripts

it detects motion but shuts off during exposure.

Heres my card I'm using with my cool new OSD configuration...    http://sharebee.com/a3818bd3

Hi!

Could anybody please tell me what is working in that release and what not?
I tried to run it on my cam, but the firmware update option didn't even show up in the menu although I had put the DISKBOOT.BIN file in the root dir of the card.

Best regards,
Daniel

hello dandan,

Are you in review mode?

Also make your card bootable by using Cardtricks (http://chdk.wikia.com/wiki/CardTricks), lock the card then try again.

If that doesnt work try the create/inspect universal dumper card (dryos) (NOTE: This will erase everything on the card backup your pics first, you will also have to copy DISCBOOT.BIN back onto the card) make sure you lock your card before you insert it in your camera.

Hi jimers,

thanks for your reply!

Does the card definitely have to be bootable even if I don't want to use the autoload function, but only want to load the software manually via the firmware upgrade function?

Best regards
Daniel

No, it doesn't have to be bootable (though it does make it easier, and you can switch between autoloading and manual loading by locking and unlocking your card).

Hi!

Does anybody have an idea why the firmware update option doesn't appear in my menu although I have a card with DISKBOOT.BIN on it put in the camera.

Could anybody please tell me which features work and what not in that release?

Best regards
Daniel
