Hi all,

  I am currently working on geotagging scripts by matching camera time with GPS tracklogs, and I noticed that my SD870IS camera timezone is not stored into the EXIF tags - the EXIF specs supports it, though - . It would be swell if CHDK was able to read the camera's timezone when it is supported, and add this information into the EXIF header in the pictures: is CHDK able to manipulate Exif data to any extent, btw? I was not able to find anything on the wiki so far?

we cannot manipulate exif data yet. also, we havent found a way to read the timezone yet, i would need that for other features as well :(
