Hi everybody, i just purchased the SD1100 cam. I've read a lot and was wondering, if there is some sucess with this one. I want to dump my firmware but i'm not sure what to do. Shall i use universal dumper or is the methos with the phototransitor better. Hope someone has any clues for my as i want to contribute to this great pice of software.

I recieved my SD1100 IS last Friday and I'm also interested in helping witht the development of a CHDK version for the SD1100 IS. I have some limited experience in programming, but I'm going to need help with the development. I was able to determine the firmware on my SD1100 and it is GM1.00C. My readout using the ver.req file is the exact same as the information posted at the link below:

The next step is to dump the firmware. I have seen some posts on here that people have attempted to dump the firmware for the SD1100, but have not been successful. If someone is also attempting to dump the firmware for the SD1100 let me know. Maybe we can work together.

I also just got an Ixus80 (from Hong Kong, don't know if it makes any difference). I might be able to help with dumping the firmware, I just don't know how

I've tried the udumper, and it doesn't work, screen shows "Card locked", and empty.dum is still empty.

I'm guessing the blinker method will not work either, since we first need to find out how to execute code from the SD card...
