Raw enabled but wont show in pic viewer

I only have a little Canon Powershot A650IS, but I love it.
I enabled Raw and have taken my pics, they are transfered to my computer through the card reader and are in my folder in
" crw " format. EG. " CRW 0684. CRW " that is what the file is named. I installed Raw Therapee, cant see the files in that so managed to get the Canon DDP. Cant see them in that either.
I would love to know what the hell I am doing wrong, maybee my camera, even with CHDK on it dosent like to make a raw file, I don't know.
Can some nice camera guru please tell me why and what to do.

If Raw Therapee didn't work for you, either try one of the other programs mentioned in the above threads, or describe how it doesn't work. a650 is listed as supported on the Raw Therapee, so it should work. If it doesn't, you may be able to get support on their site.

edit:
The latest non-development version (2.3) of Raw Therapee does not list the a650, so you might have to use a development snapshot, or a different program.
