Deselecting a script?

How does one deselect a script. eg. I have the ultra intervalometer loaded with no other scripts in the SCRIPT directory. How do you deselect it? The only thing I can think of is to switch to a self written empty, no function script. Be kind if this seems stupid> I am just getting my head around this stuff.

actually there is no real need for deselecting a script, as you just can leave the altmode. alt-mode without a script doesnt make much sense, as all the buttons are remapped to chdk, meaning you cant manually take pictures or change settings in the canon menu. i too had that problem you mention here when i first got to know chdk. but then i understood the whole concept behind this fine piece of software :)

Actually, when I first tried CHDK I really wanted to get the default script back after selecting something else as well. This was because I kept trying to take pictures in alt mode by accident (without knowing I was in alt mode or not quite having figured out what alt mode really is yet), and having an empty script was a great way to prevent confusion and spurious shots.

To be honest I still do that sometimes after exiting CHDK menu, but for most of the time I now know whether I'm in alt mode or not (I usually don't look at the display if I think I know what's there and sometimes I'm just plain wrong :D).

I'm new here, but I've saw a default script to put your scraip again in a default mode...sorry but I 'don't know who created this script. And so sorry for my pessimous english...i'm a brasilian guy! hugs!

@title Default script
@param a Shoot count
@default a 2
@param b Step
@default b 3

sleep 1000

if a<1 then let a=2
if b<1 then let b=3

for s=1 to a
  shoot
  for n=1 to b
    click "right"
  next n
next s
shoot

for n=1 to a*b
  click "left"
next n

end
Be happy!
