Hello, Im recently heard about CHDK and really impressed by it's features. Respect to developers!
Now i need some piece of hardware to start with..

Want to get IXUS 860 because of 28mm wide angle lens and appealing compact design, but not sure what colour to choose.

Black lens facing is more stylish and doesen't produce sun glares.. Silver mean less heat absorbtion, therefore less sensor noise. But will it be any visible difference in practice?

Any thoudhts appreciated   :-[

Hi.
A little out of time for a answer, but there is a visible difference in practice.
I prefer silver because with time and depending on your camera handling it can get sometimes a war correspondent like patina.
My nephews 6 years old IXUS IIs/SD 110 is not chdk compatible, but this video is done with chdk TV bracketing on my IXUS 60/SD 600, qtpfsgui, xnview and virtual dub.
