I got a new camera to play with, the SX110. Nice camera, but when I go to plug in the video and USB cables... they use the same connector.

Mutually exclusive connection. They use a mutant USB connector that can supply USB *OR* video. But not both.

Does anyone know if this is a trend Canon plans on keeping? Or will they seperate out USB and video again?

Sorta screws up the whole plan if they dont
