see, thats what i meant - without a diff its hard to catch all the stuff you changed.

when you are working in windows, use tortoise svn to create a patch (right click on the trunk, go to the tortoise svn menu, then on "create patch" and then mark all the files you created).
this of course only works when you are working inside of a so called "working copy" (not an export).
see here for more info: Creating and Applying Patches
i highly recommend reading the whole svn book

in the commandline (windows + linux) you can obtain a diff/patch by just doing a "svn diff > g9.patch" for example (in trunk dir).

ps: in order to not only have the changed files, but also the NEW files (that means they have never been in the svn before) in the diff you have to do an "SVN ADD" on these (via commandline) or you highlight them in explorer, right click, tortoise svn -> add.

perhaps someone can add some small tutorial in the wiki on how to submit patches, i think what i just wrote is not enough.

oh, fixed in svn already.

So i know this is probably another dumb question but...

Can I try one of these 100g on my g9? I have a firmware gm1.00D?

No! You can't use it.
Instead of that see Reply # 90 on Page 7! (tcrew)

There is a bin file in the attachment.
That is what I use already in my 1.00D G9. (last known ~working CHDK port for it)

Cheers.

Thanks Titan!

I swear no matter how many times I read this thread I still don't catch it all. I have never had so many promblems!

I am also just to excited to start using CHDK... Really I just want the expanded bracketing... Thanks Again!
