Hi,
I have uploaded firmware version 1.00C from my european Powershot G9. I had to manipulate the code of udumper, I changed MIN_ADDRESS to 0xFF700000 and the size to 8mb. Anyone want to take a look into the dump?

I would like to update to the available 1.00I, but I'm not sure if this will work without problems...

I have 1.00H.

Installed CHDK g9-100h-0.9.8-763.zip

Result:
Blue blinking.
Red disclaimer: chdk ver...blah-blah...
Battery metery + smth else
Press MENU - can see only the standart one...
Press SHORTCUT - nothing
On\Off camera - only original firmware boots, short doesn't eork etc.

Installed CHDK g9-100i-0.9.8-763.zip

Result:

Hi all!

I've just noted that there is an option in the "Miscellaneous stuff" menu to activate the "Use" of "zoom buttons for MF", but this don't work for my G9 with the 100f.
Can someone test if this work with different firmware revisions?

Hello all,
I switched to 0.9.9-863 build, and the issue seems solved.
I don't know if this is a bug, but this function doesn't read the actual focus value but uses the last override value used.
This makes difficult, for example, refine a not perfect af detection

i would rather be interested in having the af crash with hq videos solved.
i couldnt find any bug about this in the tracker - is there one?
is anybody still researching about it or wanting to have a look at it?

I have used 100-d and 100-i and both support zooming and re-focus while shooting. Pressing left-button does pause the recording, but then my G9 crashes and powers off.
