Hello,

I'm porting CHDK to the G9 (only 100g) about 90% !!!
see attach file... :)

I'm sorry to jeff666 but I take next report from his message- G9 porting progress
and fill it...

Tasks:
  • Get the cam started.
    • start cam under chdk-control without any extensions
    • create led-blinker-test-task
    Progress: all done
  • GUI output.
    • General output
    • Histogramm
    • Zebra mode
    Progress: all done
  • hijack Keyboard handler (this includes USB-support)
    • JogDial
    Progress: all done
  • hijack shoot-task.
    • control darkframe subtraction.
    • implement raw-save: This might be unnecessary, since the G9 saves raw itself, but it should be simple thus I'll include it anyway.
Progress: not done (raw not save)
  • hijack movie-task.
    Progress: done
  • Include multipartition/boot from SDHC support.
    Progress: all done
  • BASIC scripting.
    Progress: all done
  • Lua scripting.
    Progress: all done
  • Overrides.
    • AV
    • TV
    • ISO
    • Subject Distance
    • Bracketing in cont' mode
    Progress: testing
  • Image enhancement.
    • Bad Pixel removal
    • custom curves
    Progress:not testing not done

Now I'm working with next error
  • raw not save
  • Owerrides

hi all,
I'm building for the 100f.
I made only few changes to stubs_entry_2.S and movie_rec.c.
It seems to work, but will have the time to test this night.

Tremendous job bongo_bingo, uvvv and others. Thanks!!!  :lol

I tested your 100f release and could not use basic scripts. No crash, but the parameters are not read from the scripts.
I also noticed that the AF in movie mode does not work as I assigned it to the shutter button without any response from it.

May be this is all old news for you since you wrote you would test your release tonight. I hope it helped anyway.

What a lot of work has been achieved since the porting to the G9 started :)

Running on a 100g Firmware and the AF in movie fails.

As to the AV and Shutter overrides. It might be me but im unable to get them to work.

Finally is there any way to up the Frames on the video? i would love 30fps on 1024

well,
the 100g version works very well even on my 100f.
The changes I've made are unnecessary, so try to use it even on 100f, and just for curiosity, on the 100d.

W CHDK ON G9!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)

First of all congrats for those who makes the porting. :D

Well on my 1.00D none of the 1.00F either the 1.00G diskboot.bin work. (As I know it's normal.)
The only what happened is the blue led light up for 1 sec and then turned off.
So I'm waiting till someone makes the changes what it needs.

Waiting when it's available for testing......

Cheers.

well,
the 100g version works very well even on my 100f.
The changes I've made are unnecessary, so try to use it even on 100f, and just for curiosity, on the 100d.

W CHDK ON G9!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)

Im updating some of the data on the wiki page for the specs.

CameraFeatures - CHDK Wiki

Anyone else able to comment/alter the figures.

I belive im testing right. am i right in saying if the original osd only displays 1/2500  shutter even when set higher its all it will do?? if so i will be testing the ISO at 8000 with my fish only.

any other test you would like im willing. Also has the ISO not been fully mapped still as the numbers are way out.

thanks

Antony.
