Loaded the latest build: No more RAW lockups. :)

Histogram display placements are now even lower.  :(
The B in an [ R G B] display is completely off screen,
and in all the 2-panel displays half of the lower panel is off screen.

///Now I cannot find where to turn off the center area magnification in the menus. I saw it in the earlier build. ///
[never mind - I confused the histogram magnification option with the camera's own AF point Zoom setting :oops: ]

ahhhh thanks whim ^^ its always the small things which cause errors ;)

ok I can take pics while in RAW-mode now :)
takes bit long while it saves it (display remains black at this time) but I'm used to the speed of EOS 400D so ^^

cool there is a beta now :D
I will start to rtfm now :)

btw the cam doesnt even switch on while using the wrong versions build  8)

I will give it a thorough test during the next few days, while I am checking out the possibilities of this amazing software!

Just found a minor glitch. The time stamp of the first RAW file that is shot after powering the camera on is not correct (01.01.2000 00:00). The correponding JPG time stamp is ok!

Oh, yes, and I will RTFM too!   :D

gonna start downloading, but which of the two versions (100e, 101b) is better? or are they for diferent changes in the camera?
and also: after i download the firmware, what do i do? how do i implement it on my a590is?

well, i have a question, just to make sure: are all those features listed on the "read me" file applyable to a590is, or that is just a general description of chdk firmware improvements available for other canon cameras?
also, i still didnt find on your "read me" file how to put that firmware (100e and 101b) into my a590is camera. i take it i have to go to one of those links you've posted there, right?
