@reyalp
I formated the 4GB card and it seems like the crashing problem
went away. However, I haven't taken too many 60+ raw pictures
lately. I will let you know if the problem returns.

I won't be able to test the full multi-partition support. I have only a
4GB card,  but I sure will test the rest of version
a590-101b-0.9.8-789-full well.

It is nice to have a tune up for the A590IS. Thanks!

@reyalp
Is this the same multipartition support as on other targets.
Actually what I really want is multipartition support with FAT32...

Yes. Should enable "swap partition", "make bootable" etc
Don't forget what the H stands for.

@reyalp
Since ND filter support was added to the A2000.

How about ND filter support for the A590IS?

BTW, a590-101b-0.9.8-800-full.zip is very solid on my A590IS.
Thanks.

What will we notice after NSTUB  cleaned up for the A590IS stubs_entry_2.S ?
I'll test a590-101b-0.9.8-811-full.zip today.

Probably nothing. It's possible that the wrong function would have been used in some cases, which could have caused something to not work, or the camera to crash.

Hi Reyalp!

Thanks for this update: a590-101b-0.9.8-811-full.zip I test it, and i think this is ok. My camera randomly crash or boot normaly with older chdk, when swith on the camera (record or playback mode.). Now newer crash the camera, but more test requied.

Another questions, the video mode not working (bitrate, quality = same size video, and AF key = nothing happened). Possibly correct this feature?
Thnaks

It seems like Zebra mode has an interference with Canon's
built in grid. When Zebra is active it doesn't clear the grid
completely. It erases about half of the grid.

I've tried:

Restore original screen [ ]
Restore OSD [ ]

but they don't seem to make a difference.

I have noticed also that when Zebra mode is active the
exposure compensation bar disappears (when Press Shutter
Button halfway) which is nice for composition.
Any way to keep exposure compensation bar off all the time
when Pressing Shutter Button Halfway? This should be added
to the CHDK menu.

Testing a590-101b-0.9.8-816-full.zip now.

I wonder if the values for sensor dimensions and active area
in camera.h for the A590IS are correct.

I get something like a fine frame around all CRW and DNG files.

That's normal, those are called inactive pixels.
