Now i upload the battery tester script again. Please do not use on memory card with important images.
Not stable all time, for expert why? Recent builds with video mode, sometimes crash. The voltage not only +-1 digit change, when discharging the battery. Why? The chdk on screen display is ok.

There is no battery door override for any camera in the trunk, just some experimental work: http://chdk.setepontos.com/index.php?topic=5744.0

I just checked in the constant for D10 so I wouldn't forget it...

On cameras that use AA, you'd need an external power supply for this to be useful, since battery power flows through the door.

Is there a CHDK PTP  windows exe that I can download to try it
or do I need to compile code and create my own exe?

I linked the ptpcam executable that I used in the thread (it's on drop.io so I guess it will go away soon). It's based on mweerdens patch. Not that there have been several implementations of the PTP interface, and they are not compatible, so other tools linked in that thread may or may not work. In particular ewavrs tool will not work with the PTP version in the trunk

If you mean ptpcam from this post: a backup is stored in the "Tools" folder at http://www.box.net/chdk (direct link).

Will the removal of scriptable actions from kbd.c (script optional) give us more buffer memory for faster raw shooting and writing?

No. The entire heap where CHDK lives is much smaller than a single raw image, and the speed of raw saving doesn't depend on this memory at all.
