heh  :haha ph3@r mY m@d 5k1LL5!  re: including the firmware dump precompiled apps, what do you think about making a SX100-specific binary using the "universal dumper - one more idea" method? Not really universal if it's coded to a specific camera, BUT at least that way, people wouldn't have to buy a photodiode and hack up a cable, just dump it to that tiny 16M card that ships with the camera.

re: IDA Pro, yea I asked that in another thread. Oh well. Not that I have the ability anyway, but it makes learning easier.

Another version of the Sx100 1.00C dump made with sd card and 2/diskboot.bin (not the same binaries than the other 1.00c)

Hi guys I have a sx100 1.00c, I wish I had the knowledge enough to modify my firmware, but I'mwilling to help in any way I can to get the thing done.
I want to have chdk running on my camera asap

Just a nudge to show there is still interest in this model.  Doesn't appear that there's been any update in about 2 months :(

Well. I'm also quite interestend in this topic. Bought the SX100 because of the nice price/performance ratio, well knowing there still is no chdk, but i was hoping it would be ported soon.

So, is anyone even interestend in working on this task?  :(
It's quite a nice cam, but with your CHDK, it would be even greater..
