Wow, you wanted to make sure the firmware doesnt get lost, heh?

~~Little note: The dump hosted on mighty-hoernsche.de got the trailing (tailing?) zeroes (or more like FF's) removed.~~

There was way too much removed. Uploaded the original file again. Just in case those other hosters delete them after a while..

Hi Guys,

What's the chance that the SX100's CHDK file will work in the SX110?
I will be buying one of these when they arrive in New Zealand .. not until late October.

Is there anyway I can help any body with the porting of this camera?
I am unable to help myself, with little or no experience in these things.

you only can try to talk with developers, but if you want to help you need experience in C++ and so on

Just to let the would be developer, I tried the sx100 chdk but after making the card bootable and locking it and then pressing the play button and menu up there is no "firm update" on there at all. Any ideas??? did I F-up something?

You did (DryOS cams only support the diskboot.bin method), but in any case it will not work on the sx100.

Ok then, assuming that there was a diskboot.bin (not the one I tried for the sx100) how would I make it load on the sx110?
