UBASIC/Scripts:Time Bandit 1.0 - CHDK Wiki

This time lapse fixes downloading jpg video without having to compress 1540 pictures into a 30 fps video.  SERIOUSLY IF THIS SCRIPT WORKS, JPG VIDEO WILL BECOME OBSOLETE!  =)  Also, imagine the time saved in making this.  please fix this script writers.  much appreciated.

Also this one?  this will save on memory space for surveilance purposes.  it doesn't work on the s5, which is what i'm currently using.

I am afraid you mis-understood what time bandit does.

it's just intended to shoot a predetermined number of photos.

What exactly are your needs?

time bandit takes an image every 5 seconds or more determined on your user settings.  once you set it, the camera will take the picture and in the end compress those pictures into a video without having to merge the images using jpegvideo.

current situation: intervolameter script that shoots every X seconds.  have to upload the pictures to my computer, then i have to use jpegvideo to squish the images into a video (takes at least 40 minutes on my computer)

so in essence: if this script works, this will save valuable computer time.

well the script will help you calculating framerate and length of the movie so you dont have to do that in postproduction. but it really just takes pics.
