Well I don't know about building in windows, but

Code: [Select]
gcc show_bad.c
and renaming the output (a.out or a.exe?) or more elaborately

Code: [Select]
gcc -o show_bad.exe show_bad.c
would work on e.g. Linux.

so what would be the advantages in an IS enabled camera when taking several images at high iso and averaging them out as opposed to taking a few longer exposure at ISO 80 and choosing the best one?
I took some pretty cool absolutely sharp pictures of some architecturally lit buildings by choosing one of the frames shot at ISO 80 and close to 1s exposure (and even 1s). would I have any advantage in using this averaging function in my camera?

1 hour? the earth is still revolving so I believe that after a certain duration all the stars would come out smeared anyway

if you're taking pictures of the same thing and they come out slightly off does the function align them correctly and then merge them?

I have the A570 IS with build 16.  Devolop raw is available under raw paramaters but I cannot find the merge utilities.    Is this not available for my camera?
Thank you.

Thank you.  I guess I just missed the post where that was discussed.

Hello AllBest,

please include a new 3-value menu entry for the SD and a560 cameras on the next build (as a replacement for the removed Av override):

ND-Filter override: off / in / out

use the +5 Av overide as the "in" value
use the MIN Av overide as the "out" value

Av override has been verified working this way on the SD700 with your build 11, for more info see
http://chdk.wikia.com/wiki/SD700_CHDK_Porting

Thank you

Hi nirschi!
I'll include this additional menu entries for this models
Thank!
