Hi,
I am running CHDK on an IXUS 80IS.
When I set long shutter speeds and then go out of ALT and turn off flash the override doesn't work and I get normal shutter speeds.
I have tried switching to manual flash in ALT menu and power 0 but still get a flash.
Any ideas how to turn off flash and keep long shutter speed??

I have an ixus 80 and have no problem with the shutter speed with or w/o flash.
are you setting the overide value factor as well? its right under the shutter speed selector.

Yep setting override value factor also.
Just thinking do I turn off flash first then set override?? Will have to play.
Do you turn flash off in normal camera mode or somehow in ALT menu?

Just had another play.
Whenever I turn flash off (in normal mode) with overrides on all set ok then it reverts back to original settings. When I turn flash back to auto (in normal menu) then overrides work again!!
Im confused.com ???
