SD890 IS CHDK Available?

I own the Canon SD890 IS PowerShot camera and I have had no luck locating a build for CHDK for this camera.

Does anyone know anything about the availability of CHDK for the SD890 IS?

i own the same camera i see that the wiki was updated today. now says

"There's no CHDK available for the SD890 / IXUS 970 until now (02-Oct-2008)."

has this been released ive not been able to find it.

any help would be great.

Hello & welcome dizne,

the wikia was updated only because a new firmware dump (the ROM based Canon-software) for this camera is available - just for developers, for programming a CHDK version...

As the wikia says: There's NO CHDK available, if you are not a developer you can only wait until the CHDK is ported (=programmed) some day for this camera - then you can see it in the NEWS section of the CHDK wikia...
