I guess I wasn't done yet because I've only been working on it about 1 1/2 nights now, lol. At least now I'm pretty sure I know what's going on. I compared the boot.c that you have with the one I was working on and it looks like I was doing the right things.

BTW, I noticed that the Makefile in svn wasn't updated for the new build. Is this normal for new ports?

Also, I built the new code and installed. Seems to be working so far!

Hi, I installed this on an SX10 with 1.02b, and everything seems to be working fine. However, I am unable to convrt the raw (CRW) files it produces with dng4ps2 as explained in the CHDK wiki. Actually, Grin beat me to it.
I'll try creating a 1.01b image from the 1.02b image and let you know when I'm done.

BTW, Picasa also doesn't seem to recognize the .CRW files. When I switch the config to save raws in DNG then the .DNG files are recognized just fine. Are the 1.01a people having any .CRW issues?

The 12 bit CHDK .CRW files are not widely supported yet. Note that CHDK CRW is not in the actual canon crw format. It's just a dump of the sensor buffer.

I am using the 1.02b CHDK now. I turned off most of the displays because they overlap the regular displays. DNG works fine. Auto ISO range works fine. Video quality control works fine. That's probably all that I am going to play with for a while.

The files mentioned above do not contain these scripts. The extra files can be taken from other CHDK versions available for download.

I have been playing with the 1.02B version for some time, and it seems to be working well. There was time when the camera locked and had to be turned off and on again (no need to remove the batteries) but I do not remember what I did that caused this, and could not reproduce it by doing again what I think I was doing.

It seems to me that this version (including the extra files that come with official releases) is ready to be released and announced at least as a beta version.
