I haven't done a thorough test but 103a seems to boot fine. ISO, shutter speed, bracketing, RAW, and scripting seems to work. Thanks for this guys.

i can't do to boot SDHk on my sx 10 is fw 1.03A.I tryed all methods....but nothing....same message......card locked....Any help?
2. It's possible to save on the SD only DNG format wirhout >JPEG format...because CHDK save in both formats and this is an invonvenience about disk space

Format your SD card in the camera, then unzip the "complete" package (DL it from the Autobuild server) to the card's root.
Start the camera in playback mode with the PLAY button [>] , press MENU, scroll down and select "Firmware Update" to start CHDK manually...

No, JPG's are always stored by the original firmware.
You can set up the smalles size & the highest compression from the Canon menu to save card space.

My wife just bought a SX10 IS today. When I checked the version it was 1.03c. The 1.03a version booted up OK and the first few things I did worked, bracketing, showing zoom FL and temperature. The auto ISO when tied to FL seems OK but when tied to min. shutter speed it is funky. It must be said that this was in lower light conditions and I find the same thing happens to my G9 in low light, however the sx10 was worse. I suspect tommorow during the day when there is more light it will work better. Its is in good day time light that I need the AUTOISO the most. My shtick is street photography and the AUTOISO just lets me forget all about shutter speed when shooting and that is huge.
As time goes on I will report more of my findings on the 1.03c version, althought I don't use chdk to anywhere near its full capacity. Looking forward checking out RAW on the sx10. To those who worked out the port for the sx10, a big THANKS.
