This seems fine to me, I don't see any reason we would want to build the modules as arm, and if we did for a one off test, this one module being broken wouldn't be a big deal.
Okay, once the D6 stuff is in trunk, this can follow.

We have a general rule about not having ifdefs in models, but IMO the target CPU architecture should be an exception, because the resulting modules are incompatible anyway.
Modules are built separately for the v5 and v7 architectures, the main 'switch' is the THUMB_FW define.

Something different: A module I'm planning would use the hexadecimal input box (hexbox) and the HP timer functions. May I go ahead adding them to the export list? The HP timer functions will need wrappers too.
If agreed, I'll do this after the D6 merge.

Right, what I meant was using #ifdefs based on this main switch makes sense.

I don't see any reason not to.

If the module code provides callbacks to _SetHPTimerAfterNow, we'll need verify whether they can be thumb or provide them as ARM for pre-digic 6 cams.

svn repo broken?
« Reply #242 on: 11 / September / 2015, 11:19:49 »
This does not really belong to here, but didn't want to open a new thread yet.

I'm not able to reach the main CHDK repo through an svn client. Svn URLs give back an error xml with
Code: [Select]
<m:human-readable errcode="125012">
Invalid character in hex checksum
</m:human-readable>
when connecting via a web browser. The assembla web viewer doesn't show any errors, but downloading as zip doesn't seem working.

Other repos I tried are working, so it's just this one that seems affected.

I created a ticket with assembla https://www.assembla.com/spaces/AssemblaSupport/support/tickets/12607-svn-error--quot-invalid-character-in-hex-checksum-quot-

They were pretty responsive last time I had an issue.

Or not, I get

"Can't open file '/mnt/atl-fs14-data1/svn/chdk/conf/hooks-env': Permission denied"

trying to commit. I'm guessing this is something that didn't get set up right when the fixed the previous issue.

The http://mighty-hoernsche.de autobuild seems to be stuck on 4247. Might be related to recent svn issues.

Fixed, hacki had it turned off during the svn issues. Separately, the build was broken.

There are still problems with Assembla. It is very strange. With the svn client and on the web source code browser is all fine. But when you try to download the recent source code as zip file via the assembla web page you get older files, e.g. camera_list.csv is from 2015/09/05.

I used the "download" button on https://www.assembla.com/spaces/chdk/subversion/source/HEAD/trunk and got the current camera_list.csv. Are you using a different link?
