CHDK as light meter for film camera?

As well as enjoying Powershotting with CHDK, I've started taking a little b&w film using 1950's folding cameras and the like.

I wanted to use the digital camera as a preview and light meter. But - having read this article - Ultimate Exposure Computer, what 'OSD' parameter should I best use to feed into Chart B? The various values measured don't seem to stack up with the 'sunny f/16 rule' or my old selenium light meter (which indicates as expected on a sunny day).

I'd be grateful if someone can spell out what the discrepancy is, please. The info about Bv, Ev, LV, Sv etc in the chdk documentation is a bit terse for a beginner.
