Canon SD880 North American CHDK?

Does anyone have any info as to when CHDK may be available for the SD880 with Digic 4.  I've waited for about a month or so but nothing as yet.

Any info greatly appreciated.

Okay sorry for posting it seems they are working on porting it for this camera.

Thanks to the developers in helping to make CHDK compatible with the SD880 IS

There is no status. Like all ports, will be done when someone does it, or never if no one does it. You can watch http://chdk.wikia.com/wiki/IXUS870IS for updates.

yea i looked at that but it looks a bit too advanced for me to start off

has anyone started looking into it? I am willing to lend a hand where possible =)

NTSC/PAL doesn't matter. Both are 101a, so it is the correct version.

Not clear what you mean. "firm update" does not actually update your firmware, it just loads CHDK one time.
