The program that converted the .elf file to the .flt format was not handling 24 bit relative branch relocation properly. So the module would work if it got compiled with none of these relocations.

Phil.
Thanks for fixing this!
ARM CHDK now seems to run correctly.

on the release sx130is-1.2.0-3031-full_beta when enabling video compression only the percent of compression appears on screen while capturing video
on older releases you could see the bitrate live on screen and it was very usefull. there is the option though on the video settings to show the live bitrate, i enable it but on the newer version it doesnt work.
there are other options to enable for onscreen help but none of the work as well

there is another bug as well on file browser. when by mistake u click on a file that isnt supposed to open doesnt simple ''doesnt open'' but freezes the camera after one minute by blank screen. after u click to open nothing happens you think ok nothing happened but after a minute screen goes black and it has nothing to do with automatic power save option since u cant revive the camera

Should be fixed in version 3036 (trunk) and 3037 (release-1.2).

I can't reproduce this - what was the file extension?
I'm assuming by 'click' you mean pressing the FUNC/SET button.

Phil.

S100 with CHDK (active or not) unable to make native RAW (CR2 or CRW)
« Reply #244 on: 09 / September / 2013, 02:03:43 »
When my S100 is booted with CHDK  s100-102a-1.2.0-3055-full_BETA
-If booted without CHDK, native RAW is named "CR2" and ~15MB
-When booted with CHDK - and asking for a DNG file - it works fine.

To reproduce problem, - uncheck DNG option in CHDK, try to make a CR2 or CRW file.
take a raw photo, - you will get a CRW og 19MB, that is unreadable by any application.
-same problem remains if ALT mode is disabled after boot.

Additional clue; creation of badpixel file fails every time - after taking 2 pictures.

This is normal for your camera model - it's the RAW file produced  by the Canon firmware.

This is also normal for your camera - it's the DNG format file produced by CHDK.

This is also normal for your camera.  In this case,  CHDK is saving a raw dump of your camera's sensor data.  You might want to read through this thread :

Unrelated problem.  Search the forum for "bad pixel create".

I started seeing question marks on my older a4x0 cameras a while ago when half-pressing the shutter, but didn't pay much attention. I thought it was a porting problem.
Turns out it's changeset 3035 that broke the aperture display for CAM_DRAW_EXPOSITION cameras. Since multiple functions are involved in code that I don't know well, I'm filing this bug instead of trying to solve it myself. Sorry for not noticing this earlier.

edit: of course only cameras without a real iris are affected

Attached version of shooting.c should fix it (I'm away from build system at the moment so I can't test this yet).
