Hello,

would it make any sense and be possible with not too much cost to modify CHDK in a way that - maybe dependent on a preferences setting - a RAW file is removed when the corresponding .JPG is erased?

For me, it seems to be a good time and space saver to have that, especially when comparing the sizes of RAW and JPG. Alternatively, would an additional menu entry in the file browser, "Erase all RAWs w/o JPEG" be easier to implement as a sort of lazy man's option?

both features you ask for are already in chdk.
raws get deleted when the corresponding jpg gets deleted - but you have to reboot the camera first.
the second feature is in the filebrowser: purge raw.
