I am unable to locate the step by step instructions for luminance bracketing (2 Ev) for the SD1000.  I am interested in trying HDR.

Good morning fe50, thanks for the tip but I read the forum before posting and tried every way I could think of to get the 3 shots but I only get one.  That is why I asked if anyone had knowledge of the SD1000. Thinking that the SD1000 may require a different setup in someway.  I still can't get the 3 shots automatically so any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

In the bracketing override menu, set the EV value for your steps.
Set the bracketing type to lighter / darker or alternate.

Now in the normal Canon menu, set the custom timer to the required number of pictures.
