I have an SX-10 IS, and I just found this site. I put vers.req on my card and after the 3rd press of "DISP" I get:

Total Shoot: 120
Zoom Retry Count: 0
Mecha Condition: 0x00000000

I searched for "Mecha Condition" and didn't find it... is this something new? It's not going to grow arms, legs, and a rocket launcher, is it?  :D

i would assume it means "mechanical condition", i.e. "Lens Error E18" or something.
