I just discovered the new (to me at least) edge overlay functions. I am the one who originally wrote it and I think the changes are great and want to applaud whoever did the improvements.
There does not seem to be any info on how to use the features, so I may be using it wrong, but I have a couple problems:
1. The file number never increments beyond 1 when saving, so only one overlay can be saved.
2. To get to the edge overlay menu I need to navigate the menu system and this requires the use of up,down, left and right buttons. Unfortunately this seems to shift the overlay when I try to read a saved overlay.
