i must decide between a590 and ixus 80/1100. 590 has manual settings as standard. with chkd does 80/1100 have the same/similar manual exposure settings? is there a comparison list. the one i printed out is very rudementary. thanks a lot
sorry but under choices i couldnt decide between milk and coke..... no, what choices? i am new here.thanks

With CHDK, you will be able to control all the settings (where equivalents exist) on the 80/1100. However, they aren't always as convenient to use as the factory manual settings.

For example you can override focus, but you wouldn't have the zoomed MF window.
