It may be a good idea to have forum threads by camera model, maybe so, maybe not as some duplication will occur. But it may be easier to isolate model-specific issues.

Once a port has matured a bit, there should be very little reason for model specific threads.

New ports tend to have issues, but those are correctly discussed in the development thread for that port, or in their own unique thread.
