In camera mode, the OSD is terrible. most of the time dissapears. In review mode is stable.

Is it a bug?

Did you enable zebra mode ? -> disable it, you can use Reset options to default from the CHDK Miscellaneous stuff menu.

With and whitout zebra mode is the same thing. It is displayed shortly (1 sec or less) and then goes away totally or partially. If I press the "dial" selector half way, most of the time is displayed back, in full, but not always.
