Ha, and I just ended up hexediting the boot sector myself.  AVG was freaking me out.

Avira - Antivir also reported a trojan. I sent the file in and they acknowledged that it is a false positive.
Probably already fixed in the current Antivir.

If there's a way to disable it, I can't find it.  I'm not really up for changing my anti virus solution just so I can run one app, I was hoping there was a better way.
Kind of odd to reply this late, but to disable AVG double click the AVG tray icon, select properties for the scanner and deselect 'enabled'. In the future you might want to disable heuristics also, they seem only to slow down the computer and do not detect positives.
