Well, I turned on my camera today, using CHDK v.531 from Juciphox.

Got the version screen and then...nothing.

I guess that this is some sort of "death ware."

I installed this version shortly after it was available. I liked some of the mods.

Well, I pulled out my memory card and reset the memory "slide" to off.
Camera works as normal (is5).

For now, I'm not using any CHDK mods until this instability is fixed.

I hope that it is soon.

We are at revision 623 and build number 0.8.9, so maybe you should update...
And don't forget that the allbest buld was merged with juciphox. there is only one build called simply "chdk"

You can download the newest one from here CHDK Download - build 0.8.10, revision #638

ps: maybe you should check that your files aren't corrupted
