how to encode video to play back them on canon camera

Hello,

I would like to encode movies in the correct format to play back on my a720  camera
I check the format of video encoded by the a720 and got the format:
- mjpeg 640x480 video
- 8bit pcm 11khz sampling 1 channel 88kbps audio

I tryed to encode with ffmpeg encoder with the same codecs for audio and video.
Then I replaced a video recorded by the camera with the one encoded by ffmpeg
But when I try to play back the video on the camera it displays "unidentified image"

Does anyone have tried this, or do you know why it does not works ?

Thanks,

Franck

I tried what was written on this topic but It failed:

Uploading .AVI to camera
The only difference was the codec, I used ffdshow (free codec) instead of the ones listed in the topic
